Horse Art Day Dreamer By Cori Solomon

Day Dreamer
By Cori Solomon

Having all my pastels and art supplies stolen from my car, I felt like someone who fell off a horse and must immediately remount so as not to be afraid. Feeling very violated I gingerly started drawing with a limited palette. With the few pastels I had laying around the house, I took the challenge hoping to make a positive out of a negative situation. This drawing is the result.

  1. I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune. That's too bad. I often feel the most important color to have for oil painting is white... As long as I have white, I can mix it with minimal other colors and create something great from it. Even white on canvas is unique and I might just post it sometime.. You did a great job!! Your piece is simple and elegant!
